"In our cookery school IL Primo we've been honored to host Istvan as a visiting Chef of vegetarian and Indian cuisine. We are fascinated with his knowledge on this field that includes many tiny details and variety of local ways of Indian cuisine. He deserves respect, and it was our pleasure to cook with him!"

"Istvan is an amazing cook. He is creative, innovative and very quick. He cooked for me when I was a president of a spiritual organization. I like that he always discovers new recipes so his cooking is never boring. Nowdays I travel a lot so it is a rare opportunity to taste his cooking. But when I do it is like a mini festival."

"I have met Istvan almost 20 years ago and have enjoyed his tasty and healthy cooking many-many times since then. I am myself an avid cook, so I have taste to decide what I like within vegetarian cooking and what I prefer to avoid. Istvan's cooking is to the liking for those who are into the heavily spiced, traditional Indian meals, as well as for those who have a more European taste and like less spicy, more easily digestible dishes. Istvan can face any challenge, whether it is scarcity of ingredients or budget, or any special dietary needs. He can cook vegan, lacto-vegetarian, and Ayurvedic meals with the same ease. Not to speak about his cooking courses which are a treat for the eyes, ears and taste buts of every participant. I have never heard of any clients dissatisfied with what they got on their plate. He generously shares his cooking tricks and experience with anyone, and creates an exuberant mood in his cooking classes. Very much recommended!"
Milos Blanusa, Bhakti Yoga Camp organizer, Belgrade, Serbia:
"A chef that can cook in extreme circumstances like we have at bhakti yoga camp in Serbia deserves the title like virtuoso or maestro. For 9 days in a row Istvan is cooking for 300 and more guests with unprofessional team in poor and old kitchen that is used by many others at the same time. Still the amazing meals that he cooks are ready even one hour before the lunch time, without delay. He just use whatever is available in a storage and has no special demands for groceries and spices. His helpers are untrained volunteers and even those who accidentally happened to be there at a moment. Just to watch what is going on in a kitchen in that time looks so beautiful. He looks like kitchen conductor who is waving his scoop and group of his amateur helpers are creating feast both for eyes and for tongue. While he cooks the main thing he also cooks few side lunches, for vegans, for diabetics, for children and those on diet and it is not rare that all of them are singing or joking with huge smiles on their faces. For organizers of the camp it is great relief and satisfaction to work with Istvan year after year."
